How CELSIUS Runs Their Creator Program: Brand Ambassadors, Celsius University and the Affiliate Question Answered

CELSIUS runs four separate creator routes, and people searching for a "CELSIUS affiliate program" are usually looking for one that doesn't exist. The brand has an official Brand Ambassador Program on its website with no follower minimum, a paid campus program called CELSIUS University, a college-athlete NIL roster for its LIVE. FIT. GO. campaign, and paid creator partnerships that show up in our tracking under the #celsiusbrandpartner tag, from 10K TikTokers to 1.3M accounts. None of them pays a commission on sales.

This guide covers what each route is, what the brand's own pages say about getting in, what the tracked paid posts look like, and how to pitch the energy-drink brand that spends more on creators than almost any other in its category.

The short answer: four routes, zero commission

CELSIUS UniversityA paid campus program (since 2022) where student ambassadors build the brand on campus: sampling, events, social content. Job-board postings list it as a part-time Student Marketing Ambassador role at an hourly rate.Current college studentscelsius.com/celsius-university and the brand's careers listings

Paid creator partnershipsSponsored posts tagged #celsiusbrandpartner, #CELSIUSBrandAmbassador or #ad, booked by the brand's marketing teams by marketFitness, lifestyle and comedy creators, 10K to 1M+Inbound pitch or agency

What you will not find on celsius.com: an affiliate program, a commission structure, a discount-code program or a "partnerships" contact category. The contact page routes product questions to a help desk, marketing and sales to a separate portal, and gives a press email. Nothing is labelled for creators.

Route 1: the CELSIUS Brand Ambassador Program

This is the page most "celsius ambassador" searches land on, and it is lighter than it looks.

What the page says. The headline is "APPLY FOR THE CELSIUS BRAND AMBASSADOR PROGRAM TODAY." The brand describes an ambassador as someone who "embodies a lifestyle dedicated to Living Fit," and names its target groups: "weekend warriors, certified personal trainers, or professional and non-professional athletes," plus people who "just want to follow a healthy regime." The one stated requirement: "CELSIUS Brand Ambassadors must have a passion for CELSIUS!"

How they choose. "Our team chooses Brand Ambassadors based on enthusiasm and community engagement, both locally and virtually." Social media skills, content creation and writing are described as important, but the page says what CELSIUS most wants is inspiration and active involvement. The only stated duty is to "avidly represent the essence of CELSIUS over your contracted term."

What it doesn't say. There is no follower minimum, no platform requirement, no age or location requirement, no pay, no product allowance, no discount code and no deliverable list on the page. A "Perks" section exists but names no perks. The application is a button on the page.

How to read that. This is a community program, not a creator contract. The "contracted term" line means selected ambassadors sign something, but the brand publishes no terms. If you apply, apply as a local fitness presence with a content habit, not as an influencer with a rate card. The posts we track under #CELSIUSBrandAmbassador fit that reading: an Australian creator around 13K posting "fuelled my busy day" content with retailer names in the caption, and a 9K TikTok runner tagging #celsiusambassador. Small accounts with a real fitness routine are in.

Route 2: CELSIUS University (the paid one)

This is the route with money attached, and it is only for students.

What the brand says. The Celsius University page describes a program that gives students "hands-on experience with CELSIUS by building the brand on campus": representing the brand at and near their school, producing events, networking with other campus representatives. The page says ambassadors are paid and "enjoy all the perks of being a CELSIUS ambassador," without listing amounts. The program kicked off in 2022. The apply button currently points to the brand's LinkedIn posts rather than a form.

What the job postings say. The brand lists the role on its careers board as "Student Marketing Ambassador," by semester (a Fall 2026 posting was live when we checked, plus a Canada version), part-time and remote with required in-person campus work, at a stated hourly rate around $20, paid biweekly. Duties listed: sampling, word-of-mouth promotion and social media content, with sales and events support when needed. Each posting names its own campus list.

Scale. Press coverage of the program's expansion put it at 80+ campuses. A 2023 trade-press account described a video application ("why you'd be a perfect fit") and a multi-day kickoff conference in Boca Raton for selected students; treat that as reported, not current, since the brand's own page doesn't describe the process.

How to read that. CELSIUS University is a part-time marketing job that happens to involve posting, not a creator deal. If you are a student with a fitness or campus-life account, it is the most reliable paid route into the brand, and the social content you make inside it is exactly the "campus life" material the brand reuses. If you are not a student, skip it.

Route 3: the NIL athlete roster

The LIVE. FIT. GO. campaign expanded in August 2025 with a four-athlete college football roster (a running back, a safety and two quarterbacks from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson), each in a 15-second spot about their daily routine, running on national TV, digital and social through the season with campus and local-market tie-ins. The brand's CMO framed it as "activating in the collegiate space" to reach Gen Z.

There is no application. These are agency-negotiated NIL deals with athletes who have representation. The reason it matters for creators: it tells you what the brand's biggest spend looks like (routine, training, recovery, campus) and therefore what the creator briefs underneath it ask for.

Route 4: paid creator partnerships (what we actually track)

CELSIUS placements in our data carry the brand's own partner tags, which makes them easy to read.

  • The TikTok mega-tier runs on one tag. Three placements in five weeks from creators around 1.3M, all tagged #celsiusbrandpartner with the brand's official account mentioned: a "hot girl arm routine," "road trip fuel," and a comedy bit about opening a lemoncello stand. Short, low-caption, personality-first. These are not product explainers; the can is a prop in a creator's existing format.
  • Australia runs its own program. Two Instagram placements from a 49K running creator for CELSIUS ANZ, both around real events (a women-in-running weekend, the City2Surf fun run where the brand staffed a "motivation station"), tagged #ad and #CELSIUSbrandpartner, plus the 13K "fuelled my busy day" post that names Coles and Woolworths. Regional teams book regional creators around regional events.
  • Small accounts appear under the ambassador tag. A 9K TikTok runner ("wouldn't be here without it") and a 10K TikToker with a "hype sponsored by Celsius" caption. These read as ambassador-program output, not negotiated deals.

The pattern across all of it: the brand buys the moment the drink fits into (a workout, a run, a road trip, a joke), not a review of the drink. The caption does almost nothing; the tag does the disclosure.

"Does CELSIUS have an affiliate program?"

No. As of October 2026 there is no affiliate program, commission structure or creator discount-code program on celsius.com, and none of the tracked placements carry an affiliate link or code. The queries exist because competitors in the category run them (functional-beverage DTC brands lean on codes), and because the Brand Ambassador page sounds like one. If a third-party site offers you a "CELSIUS affiliate link," it is a retailer's or marketplace's program (Amazon's, for example) paying on CELSIUS products sold through that retailer, not the brand's.

The practical consequence: there is no self-serve way to earn from CELSIUS. The routes are apply (ambassador), get hired (University), get cast (NIL) or get booked (paid partnership).

How much does CELSIUS pay creators?

The brand publishes nothing, and a partner tag never tells you what changed hands: the same #celsiusbrandpartner label covers a negotiated fee and a case of product. So we don't report deal values, and neither does anyone else honestly.

What we can say is who the brand books, and what creators of that size typically charge. The tracked placements split into two tiers: ambassador-shaped accounts around 10K to 50K, and a 1M+ TikTok tier. Our rate calculator gives the market benchmark for each: a 10K health-and-fitness creator typically quotes in the low hundreds per post, a 50K account in the mid hundreds, and a 1M+ TikTok account in the thousands. Use those as your anchor, then adjust for what the brief actually asks (a 15-second routine clip is cheaper to make than a produced explainer, and the brand knows it).

For the student route, the number is public: the Student Marketing Ambassador postings list an hourly rate, not a per-post fee.

How to pitch CELSIUS

1. Pick the route that matches your situation, not the one that sounds best. Student with a campus audience: CELSIUS University, through the careers listings. Local trainer or athlete with a content habit: the Brand Ambassador application. Established fitness or lifestyle creator: a direct pitch to the marketing team, with the regional account tagged in your post history if you are outside the US.

2. Lead with a format, not a review. Every tracked placement is a moment the can fits into. Pitch "the drink inside my existing routine series" (a 5am run, a commute, a study block, a road trip) and show the format already running on your account. "I'd love to review CELSIUS" is the pitch the brand never books.

3. Match the partner tag. Use #celsiusbrandpartner in your proposal so the team recognizes you have looked at their program. On Instagram, use the platform's paid-partnership label; the brand's own placements do.

4. Regional creators: find your market's account. CELSIUS ANZ runs its own calendar around local events and names local retailers. The same is true for other markets the brand has entered. Pitch the regional team, and reference an event they are already activating.

5. Keep the "no affiliate" fact in your expectations. There is no code to earn on, so the deal is a fee, product or both. Say which you want.

6. Time it to the campaign. The NIL football roster and campus activations run through the fall; the "live fit" positioning peaks in January. Pitch routine content in Q4 for a January run, and campus or game-day formats in August and September.

What this tells creators about energy-drink brands generally

CELSIUS spends on creators at every altitude, from a 9K TikTok runner to a 1.3M comedy account, and it runs the spend through named programs with their own tags. That is the modern CPG pattern: a public ambassador door for community, a paid campus program for Gen Z reach, an athlete roster for TV, and booked partnerships for everything in between. The affiliate program people search for is the one piece missing, and it is missing on purpose: the brand sells through retail, not through links.

If you make fitness, running, study or routine content, the ambassador door is open and the paid partnerships are visible. Use the CELSIUS brand page to see the latest placements before you write the pitch.
